Paramount Pictures has indicated an exclusive comeback of teen obsession with Mean Girls in the Web3 world in non-fungible tokens and crypto collectibles form. Trademark filings have been filed recently by Paramount Pictures for the crypto-collectibles of the movie Mean Girls.

Mean Girls Enters Web3 World with Crypto Collectibles

Mike Kondoudis (a certified trademark attorney) has claimed in a tweet that Paramount Pictures applied on 7th September for 2 trademark applications to present the popular movie of a teenage Disney star of the 2000s, Lindsay Lohan. Paramount Pictures, a movie company, is contemplating launching NFTs and crypto-collectibles for its legendary Comic film, Mean Girls (released in 2004), with its latest trademark filings.

These applications referred to all downloadable multimedia content, virtual products as well as entertainment artworks. The authentication of content is regulated by the non-fungible tokens. The specialized application will provide convenience in sending and getting access to non-fungible tokens, crypto-collectibles, as well as special application tokens.

The release of Mean Girl in 2004 resulted in a teenager obsession. It reached the sky of fame with fan-made memes on it. A report compared the number of trademark filings in the Web3 sector during both 2021 and 2022. The results have shown that 2022 is going to break the records of 2021 in this respect, as still several organizations are expected to enroll in it. The latest trademark fillings in Metaverse and NFTs include designer brands like Hérmes, Formula One (a racing car brand), and Sony Music Entertainment.

Dune Analytics stated in a report that prominent brands like Adidas, Nike, Tiffany & Co, Dolce & Gabbana, and Gucci have earned almost $260M from NFTs selling. This has proved that non-fungible tokens’ adoption is highly rewarding. So, all the brands are attempting to flourish in Web3.
